DIGICEL ANNOUNCES WINNER OF ONCE IN A LIFETIME FOOTBALL FRENZY PROMOTION TO GO TO SOUTH AFRICA

Minerva Mathruin will join 37 other Digicel winners from across the Caribbean to travel to South Africa in July.

 

Saturday June 5 – Castries, St Lucia: Digicel, the largest mobile operator in the Caribbean and official regional broadcast sponsor of the FIFA World Cup 2010, announced the winners of its “Make the Team” promotion which gives one lucky St Lucian the prize of a lifetime.

 

The “Make the Team” promotion – which gives winners an all-expenses-paid trip to see the final football game live in Johannesburg, South Africa - ran for five weeks and culminated in an exciting surprise for Ms Mathurin when she was visited at her work place with a host of prizes including the trip to South Africa.

 

Digicel Marketing team were also present to celebrate with Minerva. Her additional prizes included a Blackberry Gemini and 42” Flat Screen TV and $500 credit to mark the momentous occasion. The prize - which includes all flights and transfers from St Lucia to South Africa, accommodation in a luxury hotel on a game reserve, spending money, a safari tour, polo shirts and tickets to the  finals – valued at $30,000.
