Shera Augustin and Andrix Philip were the lucky customers who won $5,000 cash in Digicel’s Jazz Text to Win promotion!

May 14^th, 2012: CASTRIES, ST. LUCIA:  As proud platinum sponsors for Saint Lucia Jazz Festival, Digicel the Bigger, Better Network celebrated and concluded this fantastic festival with a grand Jazz, ‘Text to Win’ promotion.  With all main stage Jazz events delivering the best performances ever, Digicel ensured a fantastic promotion dubbed the “Digicel’s Jazz it Up and Win.” Shera Augustin and Andrix Philip emerged the winners of $5,000 cash each on Sunday May 13^th, 2012!

As the Jazz season closed off with three days of exciting performances, Digicel too closed off its Jazz text to win promotion on a high.  The inventive and interactive Digicel ‘Jazzy Jeopardy’ game ensured that customers received much needed value and excitement when participating.  This Jazzy promotion required customers to simply text the word ‘Jazz’ to the number ‘7171’ for two lucky customers to win magnificent cash prizes.

On Mother’s Day which traditionally is also Jazz Sunday, four finalists vied for the grand prize. Three finalists, Shera Augustin, Michel Williams and Andrix Philip were contacted live on R.C.I radio station and a Wild Card from the bevy of mothers who all attended this great festival was chosen.   Each customer was asked to choose a briefcase to reveal their prize.  In the end and elated Shera Augustin and Andrix Philip emerged the winners of the cash prizes while the other two customers each won Blackberry handsets complements Digicel.
